Program Installation

To install and activate your program please follow these steps.

  1. Click on a "Download Production Program" button on this page.
  2. You will see a Microsoft File Download window asking "Do you want to open or save this file? The name of the file is "V3_StockChartsProd.zip". It is a WinZip File from www.northoftheblue.com, approximately 443 kb in size.
  3. Click on the "Save" button.
  4. You now get a Microsoft Save As window asking "Save in: " and prompting you with the file name "V3_StockChartsProd.zip". We suggest that you save the zip file in your "temp" directory using the name "V3_StockChartsProd.zip".
  5. Click on the "Save" button.
  6. The download will begin. It should take about 3 seconds.
  7. Now use your Windows Navigator to go to the "Temp" directory where you will find the file. Double click on the file.
  8. The file was zipped using WinZip. When WinZip starts it will ask you where you want the unzipped file put. We suggest that you put it in your "Desktop" directory as that will allow us to put an icon/shortcut to the file on your desktop. The unzip process should take less than 10 seconds.
  9. Now you are ready to go. The first time you use the program you will be asked to enter your Activation Key and agree to our license rules.
  10. In the future all you will need to do is double click on your desktop icon to run North of the Blue's Stock Chart program..
